Turkish show business is known for its tough work schedule, which not everyone can withstand. From time to time, one of the actors breaks down and the press informs its readers about a new scandal. Last week, such an unpleasant situation occurred on the set of the TV series The Bad Penny / Üç Kuruş.

As the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas reported, a scandal occurred on the set of the TV series The Bad Penny / Üç Kuruş. Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, who dyed his hair blonde for a role in the series, quarreled with the director Sinan Öztürk. The actor got angry,  said that the work schedule was unbearable, and went home. The next day, he returned to the shooting, and the work continued. The producers warned Uraz against such behavior. In his defense, the actor said that he does not rest and that the work schedule is simply exhausting.

From now on, Ay Yapım intends to introduce strict control of those who leave the set without warning, as well as are late for work. Since this is Uraz’s first violation on the set, there were no penalties. Note that the actor has already experienced something similar on the set of the series Ambassador’s Daughter, which he eventually left.

Birsen Altuntas also reported that Nesrin Cavadzade, who plays the wife of the Uraz’s character in the series, signed a very harsh contract: due to the fact that she left the set of the Forbidden Fruit series without warning and didn’t return, the producers of Ay Yapım were insured.  If she escapes again, she will face heavy penalties.

At the same time, it seems that the producers of the series are not planning to reduce the workload on film crews, introduce normal working hours and give people a rest. Not surprisingly, they have a hard time recruiting stars for television projects – most actors prefer to work on digital platforms.
