Digital platform Netflix reports that the Turkish movie My Father’s Violin was ranked 4th in the world among non-English language films on the platform with 3,170,000 hours watched.

The result is not bad, but still not stunning, considering that The Secret Life of Pets 2, which is the fourth place among the English-language films of the platform, has more than five times more views (16,800,000). Note that it is important not only to get into the top, but also to take the first position there in order to have a good number of views. And most importantly, it is desirable to get into the top in countries with the maximum number of Netflix subscribers. Until now, 50% of all subscriptions are in the United States. Alas, so far Turkish films in the US market are not very lucky.
