HBO and HBO Max ended 2021 with 73.8 million users worldwide, according to official information. At the same time, the number of subscribers in the United States grew by 5.3 million members compared to last year. In total, the number of subscribers increased by 13.1 million. The merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery will close in the second quarter of this year. This will be followed by the creation of the largest digital platform WBD, which will surpass the main competitor Netflix. HBO Max, which continues to expand globally, will also launch in Turkey in 2022.
