Alparslan: The Great Seljuks

Great news for fans of the series “Alparslan: The Great Seljuks”. The producer of the show has finally decided on the new main character of the series, who will become the co-star of Barış Arduç. To everyone’s surprise, the choice fell on an unknown actress.

This week, viewers saw the first teaser of the second season of the series “Alparslan: The Great Seljuks / Alparslan Büyük Selçuklu”. It seems that the show of producer Emre Konuk will continue to attract a multi-million Turkish audience to TV screens on Mondays in the next autumn-winter television season 2022/23.

There will be significant changes in the cast of the series. Recall that at the end of the first season, Fahriye Evcen and Toprak Sergen left the show. According to the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, in the new season the cast will be replenished with such popular actors as Serhat Tutumluer, Bora Cengiz, Umut Karadağ and Öykü Gürman.

The greatest curiosity of the audience was caused by the actress, who will become the co-star of Barış Arduç. Many well-known names claimed the role of the wife of Sultan Alparslan, Seferiye Hatun, and finally, the producer made his choice. He chose 21-year-old Kayra Zabcı, known to viewers from the daytime series “My Dear Family / Canım Annem”. Recall that the role of the mother of Sultan Melikshah and the wife of Alparslan in the previous series “Awakening: The Great Seljuks / Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu” was played by Çiğdem Selışık Onat.

Kayra Aleyna Zabci, born in 2001, is a graduate of the Istanbul State Conservatory. As a child, she was chosen as Turkey’s best child model and won first place in the “World’s Best Child Model” competition.
