Great news for fans of the young Turkish actress Sıla Türkoğlu. She returns to the screens in a new prime-time series. What do we know about the show right now?

Sıla Türkoğlu, who left the TV series “Legacy / Emanet” with a scandal, remained in the attention of the Turkish press, eagerly waiting for the actress to be able to find a new project. Finally, the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas announced that the young actress had signed a contract. She will star in the new Gold Film series “Cranberry Sherbet / Kızılcık Şerbeti”, that will be aired on Show TV in the autumn-winter 2022/23 television season.

The script for the TV show, produced by Faruk Turgut, is being written by Melis Civelek and Zeynep Gür, who previously worked on the script for the “Forbidden Fruit” series. The TV show tells the story of two families at different poles. There was a big scandal between them, but eventually they would have to reconcile when the children of the two rival families started dating. The series will address the social stratification of Turkish society.

Evrim Alasya, familiar to viewers from the series “Red Room” and Barış Kılıç, who last appeared on the screens in the series “All About Marriage”, joined the cast of the project. Evrim will play the mother of the main character (Sıla Türkoğlu). It is not yet known who will become Sıla’s co-star in the series. The filming of the show will start on September 10.
