Great news for fans of İlker Kaleli! The actor returns to the screens, and this time in an international TV show, which will be filmed by Turkish and Spanish filmmakers. What do we know about the show right now?

The leading Spanish TV channel Antena 3 starts filming the series “Turkish Passion / La Pasion Turca” based on the novel by Antonia Gala. The series will be filmed in Istanbul, then the team will move to Madrid. 6 episodes of 50 minutes are planned. Filming will begin at the end of this month. Directed by Inaki Penafiel.

The story revolves around a passion between a married woman Olivia and a Turkish guide named Yaman, which leads to fatal consequences for both sides. The series will feature Turkish and Spanish actors. İlker Kaleli and Maggie Civantos will star in the TV show.

Recall that in 1994, the first adaptation of this literary work appeared on the screens of Spain, telling the love story of the Spanish professor Olivia and her Turkish lover Yaman.

The series, which will be available to viewers in Europe, the United States and Latin America, is planned to be broadcast to other countries through digital platforms. According to well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, the Spanish producers have chosen İlker Kaleli after negotiations with many actors this summer.
