It’s sad news for Demet Ozdemir’s fans. Her marriage to Oguzhan Koç ended after only 8 months. The actress will shortly file for divorce, as she has already made this claim official.

Demet and Oguzhan, who wed in style in August, have decided to end their marriage. The union only lasted eight months. After a heated dispute on Demet Ozdemir’s birthday, which can be characterized as “cruel,” Demet and Oguzhan reportedly faced issues, and their relationship did not get any better.

The couple announced their divorce in a formal statement on Instagram, explaining that they were unable to sustain a relationship and decided to break up with respect and understanding. In order to avoid upsetting their loved ones, they plan to approach this situation cautiously.

To avoid interfering with her husband’s movie release, Demet will reportedly file for divorce in the upcoming days, according to Milliyet. By consent of both parties, the divorce will take place in a single court appearance. The actress is now staying in a hotel closer to the “My Name is Farah” set after transferring her belongings from the marital house in Levent. She is currently renovating her own house and will move back to Zekeriyakoy once it is finished.
