Modern Woman

The digital series “Modern Woman”, produced by Tims&B and written by İrem Sak, was first presented at MIPTV in Cannes. The heads of the production company, Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, gave an interview to Variety, where they described the series that tells the story of a young woman stuck between the East and the West in a modern city. İrem Sak played the lead role in the project.

The genre of the film is a romantic comedy. The problems faced by the modern woman are presented in a more light-hearted manner, rather than a heavy dramatic one. It is the story of Pınar, who must make a choice – whether to become a marketing director or to find her prince charming and experience the happiness of motherhood. When she finds her love, will it be a Hollywood-style romantic story or a classic Turkish Yeşilçam movie?

The director of the 10-episode series is Ayberk Sak, İrem Sak’s brother, a graduate of the New York Film School, and a writer for Güldür Güldür Show. The company is in negotiations with several digital platforms, offering the project.
