Fans of Hande Erçel, Yılmaz Erdoğan, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Esra Bilgiç, and Demet Özdemir will find this to be very upsetting news. The shows starring these celebrities have been put on indefinite hold by the digital platform Disney Plus. How did it happen?

The start of filming for their favorite actors in Turkish television shows, who had exclusive contracts with Disney Plus, was eagerly anticipated by fans. It should be remembered that Yılmaz Erdoğan was working on his own show, “Money Trap,” which was slated to star Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Esra Bilgiç.

The 2nd season of MF Yapım’s television series “Between the World and Us ,” which stars Demet Özdemir, Buğra Gülsoy, Zerrin Tekindor, and İbrahim Selim, was also set to start filming in the summer. Based on the script written by Pınar Bulut, it was anticipated that new actors will join the series.

It was anticipated that Hande Erçel would begin filming her digital series after the first three episodes of the FOX TV series “Two Strangers” were finished. The script for the series “The Little Mermaid” by MF Yapım, with Hande Erçel in the lead role, had already been written.

The production of all three shows has, regrettably, been put on hold indefinitely due to a revision of Disney Plus’s global strategy that led to budget cuts. The bad news is that Disney will be pulling its already released original programs from digital platform and may decide to halt production on some new shows.
