Cihangir Cihan, who grabbed viewers’ attention with his role in the series “Chrysalis / Camdaki Kız,” will play the lead role in the series “Asaf.” The show, directed by Özgür Onurme, will consist of 6 episodes and will be released on the digital platform Netflix. Previously, its creators worked for the platform on the popular series “Fatma,” starring Burcu Biricik in the lead role. Interestingly, it was Burcu who was Cihangir’s co-star in the series “Chrysalis.”

The series will tell the dramatic story of an Uber driver named Asaf, whose wife left him with their young son. After tragic events that occurred when Asaf attempted to escape poverty, he found himself in a very dangerous situation, becoming a pawn of dangerous people.

As reported by the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the producers have also signed a contract with Burçin Terzioğlu, who recently finished her work on the digital platform TOD series “Poison Ivy.” She will play the wife of the main character. The second lead role in the show will be played by Saadet Işıl Aksoy, who will also appear in the second season of the Netflix series “Şahmaran.”
