Star of the TV series Money Heist in a Turkish film
Serbian actor Darko Peric has taken on the role of General Stilyan Kovachev in the film “Atatürk,” featuring Aras Bulut İynemli. The movie is set to be released on November 3.
Darko gained international fame for his portrayal of Helsinki in the Spanish series “Money Heist.” The actor, who attended the gala premiere of the film, admitted that he shaved his beard for the first time in six years to match his character. Additionally, this marks his first time playing the role of a young girl’s father, an experience he hadn’t encountered in his career before.
Responding to a question about Turkey’s first president, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Darko stated that he was one of the most significant leaders of the last century. He emphasized Atatürk’s pioneering efforts in granting equal rights to women, something unimaginable a hundred years ago and revolutionary for this region of the world.
