Preparations are underway for the upcoming series “The Crying Bride” (Ağlayan Gelin) by Bozdağ Film, set to air on TRT1. While the main male roles in the show have been revealed, the key question remains: who will play the titular bride?

Feyyaz Şerifoğlu has signed a contract with TRT1 to star in the highly anticipated series “The Crying Bride” (Ağlayan Gelin), produced by Bozdağ Film. Auditions are ongoing for other roles in the series, which will be directed by Yıldız Aşanboğa. The script for the show is penned by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Nehir Erdem, known to viewers for their work on series such as “Lifeline,” “Ambassador’s Daughter,” “The Legend,” and “Firebirds.” Notably, in this new show, Feyyaz will portray twin characters, Ersin and Yasin.

According to information from renowned journalist Birsen Altuntas, Ekin Mert Daymaz has joined the cast of the show. He will play the second main character, named Tufan. The role of the characters’ father, played by Feyyaz Şerifoğlu, will be portrayed by Sinan Tuzcu.

At the heart of the plot is the story of the beauty Yeşil, whose parents attempt to force her into marriage. On the night of her wedding, her fate will change forever. Soon, she will encounter Yasin and Ersin, football players who will become her reliable support. Negotiations are underway with Ayça Ayşin Turan for the role of Yeşil, who has just finished shooting the series “Grapes of Love.” It is not yet known whether the actress has accepted this offer.
