The premiere date for the series “Ru” is set for May 24th on the Turkish streaming service GAIN.
The plot of the series centers on the story of a talented young man named Uzer, whose mother is battling cancer. The life of 18-year-old Uzer changes after meeting 38-year-old Reyhan, who, along with her husband, runs the “RU” restaurant. The series promises to deliver a touching love story that will face societal scrutiny due to the significant age difference between the characters.
The series features Burak Berkay Akgül, Meryem Uzerli, Eveval Sam, Zafer Algöz, Hira Koyuncuolu, Derya Alabora, and Emre Karayel. The series is produced by “Medyapım” and directed by Bahadır Karataş.
