Fees of Turkish Celebrities: Whose Posts Are More Valuable?
Turkish stars earn impressive sums for posting advertisements and stories on their social media accounts, and Turkish journalists gladly share this information with their readers.
According to information of journalist Mesut Yılmaz from the newspaper Milliyet, Turkish celebrities with millions of followers on their social media can promote products and services, earning huge amounts of money. One post can bring them millions.
For instance, Burak Özçivit, whose number of Instagram followers exceeds 24 million, can earn approximately 2.7 million Turkish liras for a single advertising post.
Among women, the leader is Hande Erçel, whose number of followers on social media exceeds 30 million, and her advertising fee is 600,000 Turkish liras.
Other celebrities also earn impressive amounts for their advertising posts: Meryem Uzerli, famous for the series “Magnificent Century,” earns about 539,000 Turkish liras for each post, Fahriye Evcen, Burak Özçivit’s wife, receives 500,000 Turkish liras, Serenay Sarikaya earns the same sum, and Serkan Çayoğlu earns 400,000 Turkish liras.
However, not all Turkish stars are willing to place advertisements on their social media accounts, agreeing only to posts within contracts with major brands. Among such stars are Tarkan and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. There are also stars who do not post advertisements at all and have not participated in them in recent years, such as Çağatay Ulusoy (9 million followers).
