Birsen Altuntaş has reported details about the upcoming series “Genius” by Ay Yapım. According to her information, filming of this show, scripted by Damla Serim, will start in July.

The main role of the mathematical genius Devran will be played by Aras Bulut İynemli. The cast also includes Devrim Özkan, Taner Ölmez, Zühal Gencer, Umutcan Ütebay, Çağan Efe Ak, and Eylül Ersoz.

Negotiations are ongoing to confirm the actors for the roles of Devran’s father İskender and his stepmother Aysel. The series promises viewers an emotionally charged plot, especially in the first episode, which is based on the slogan “Don’t even trust your father.” The show “Genius” is scheduled to air on Show TV in the new fall season.

According to information from informed sources, the father of the main character in the series “Genius,” İskender, is positioned by the creators as a bright and multifaceted character. For this key role, the producers are considering a whole array of top Turkish actors representing the elite of Turkish cinema. Kerem Çatay was in negotiations with Halit Ergenç. However, the actor is currently in talks to participate in another television project.
