An Unexpected Twist in Barış Arduç’s New Series
According to information from Birsan Altuntaş, the upcoming television project featuring Barış Arduç, working title “Patron” (also translated as “Boss” or “Chief”), will not be, contrary to expectations, a crime drama. Instead, O3 Medya and the NOW channel plan to present viewers with a romantic comedy.
The script for the project is being written by Aslı Zengin, known for such successful works as “When a Man Loves,” “Mr. Wrong,” “The Daydreamer,” “Room Number 309,” “Cherry Season,” and “Strawberry Smell.”
It’s worth noting that this is not Barış Arduç’s first experience in the romantic comedy genre. The actor has already made his mark in this role, starring in the popular series “Rent Love,” which is considered one of the best romantic comedies on Turkish television.
The new project promises to showcase Arduç’s talent in a familiar genre but in a new context. Viewers will see how the actor embodies the image of a “boss” in a romantic story from the recognized master of the genre, Aslı Zengin.
