Onur Tuna will star in a Netflix series about secrets that have been kept for 20 years
The company O3 Medya is producing a new series for Netflix titled “Letters to the Future” (Geleceğe Mektuplar). The plot is based on a campaign launched in 2002 by the Turkish postal service PTT, aimed at reviving the tradition of letter writing.
As part of this campaign, people wrote letters that were to be delivered to recipients 20 years later. The series will be released under the slogan, “When was the last time you wrote a letter?”
The screenplay for the eight-episode project was written by Rana Denizer, and the director will be Cenk Ertürk. One of the first actors confirmed for a leading role is Onur Tuna, who will play a character named Mert.
