Netflix and O3 Medya are joining forces to produce a new dramatic series, “Letters to the Future.” Inspired by the Turkish postal service’s campaign of the same name, the project promises to immerse viewers in a world of secrets and the complex relationships of five student friends.

Directed by Cenk Ertürk and written by Rana Denizer, the series already boasts a star-studded cast. Selin Yeninci has joined the show as Banu, while Onur Tuna will portray Mert. The roles of Zuhal, Seda, and Murat remain shrouded in mystery, further piquing the public’s curiosity.

The plot of the eight-episode drama revolves around what seems to be an innocent assignment from a literature teacher. Five students are given an unusual homework task: to write letters to their future selves. However, these letters become the catalyst for dramatic events that unfold in the characters’ lives years later. The show’s tagline, “When was the last time you wrote a letter?” will provoke thought not only among the characters but also the viewers.
