Scandal involving Kadir Doğulu: Company bankruptcy and mass lawsuits from employees!
Turkish journalist Birsen Altuntaş reported that Kadir Doğulu has closed the office of his production company, and many affected employees intend to file lawsuits.
According to reports, Kadir Doğulu, along with his partners and with the support of his wife Neslihan Atagül, founded the company Alim Yapım. However, dozens of employees who were laid off from the company have not received their salaries for the past three months, and the office has been shut down.
Alim Yapım was created to launch new projects, in which Neslihan Atagül was also involved. The company’s last project was the series “The Compass of Love” (“Aşkın Pusulası”), starring Alperen Duymaz, Engin Öztürk, and Büşra Develi, which was aimed at the international market. However, production was halted after the seventh episode.
Citing financial difficulties, Doğulu and his partners requested a delay in payments, but three months later, they decided to close the office entirely and lay off employees without paying them. The affected individuals, including both the series and office staff, who were unable to reach company representatives to resolve their issues, are now preparing to file lawsuits to recover the outstanding wages.
Interestingly, a month ago, Birsen Altuntaş approached Kadir Doğulu, asking him to confirm rumors about Neslihan Atagül’s pregnancy for an exclusive story, but he refused and expressed his displeasure. Yesterday, on Neslihan’s birthday, Birsen published the news of her husband’s company’s bankruptcy.
