Deniz Capezza and Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu in the Series “Magnificent Madmen”
After several years, Deniz Capezza is returning to Istanbul and will star alongside Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu in the series “Magnificent Madmen” (Harika Çılgınlar).
The renowned Italian actress Deniz Capezza has joined the cast of “Magnificent Madmen,” produced by Med Yapım for the channel NOW.
This eagerly anticipated series, directed by Bahadır Karataş, will tell the true story of the Şakir Pasha family, which included such prominent figures in Turkish art as Fahrünnisa Zeid, the Halicarnassus Fisherman, and Aliye Berger.
The project, written by Hande Altaylı, features a stellar cast, including Fırat Tanış, Vahide Perçin, Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, Devrim Yakut, and Meryem Uzerli. Now, Deniz Capezza has joined them, portraying the role of Agnese, the wife of Cevat Pasha and daughter-in-law of Şakir Pasha.
In 2012, Deniz Capezza first came to Istanbul to film the series “The Abyss” (Uçurum). Currently, she stars in the Italian series “Sul più bello – la serie” on Amazon Prime Video. Her film *Holy Shoes* is being shown in European cinemas. Additionally, the actress will participate in the 81st Venice Film Festival with the film *Diva Futura*, in which she plays the lead role. The film was directed by award-winning Italian director Giulia Steigerwalt.
