Çağlar Ertuğrul: Between “The Counterfeiter” and “Magarsus” — Leading Roles and New Projects

Filming continues for the series “The Counterfeiter” (Kalpazan), produced by O3 Medya for Show TV. The show stars Timuçin Esen, Çağlar Ertuğrul, Şükran Ovalı, and Deniz Baysal.

Çağlar plays a charismatic con artist, reminiscent of Arsène Lupin. The premiere is expected in October, and the promo posters are already prepared.

According to Birsen Altuntaş, the actor will take a one-month break from “The Counterfeiter” to film the second season of “Magarsus” for the Blutv digital platform. Filming for season two will begin in October, where Çağlar will again take on the lead role alongside Merve Dizdar and Berkay Ateş.

By the 18th, filming for two episodes of “The Counterfeiter” is expected to be completed, after which Ertuğrul will resume work on “Magarsus” in Adana.
