Haluk Bilginer and the series “Sapphire” have been nominated for the International Emmy Awards. The 52nd annual International Emmy Awards ceremony will take place from November 22 to 24, 2024, in New York.

Haluk Bilginer will represent Turkey in the “Best Actor” category for his role in the second season of the series “Persona”. It’s worth noting that he previously won the award in 2019 for the first season of the popular series, which can be viewed on the Gain platform.

The series “Sapphire”, starring İlhan Şen, Özge Yağız, and Burak Berkay Akgül, has been nominated in the “Best Telenovela” category. Turkish series have a strong history in this category, with “Endless Love” and “Family Secrets” having won the award in previous years.

A total of 56 nominees from 21 countries will compete across 14 categories. The gala ceremony is scheduled for November 25, 2024, in New York.
