Cansu Dere is Back: Her New Role as Scheherazade is Set to Take the Screens by Storm!
Cansu Dere is set to bring the character of Scheherazade to life in a new large-scale digital series. The actress is preparing to introduce a project expected to generate significant global interest. After reviewing numerous offers for roles in both series and films, Cansu Dere has made her final decision. She has chosen the series “1001 Nights” and signed a contract with Bozdağ Film.
The series is being produced for the state-owned digital platform Tabii. At the heart of the story is the epic tale of Scheherazade, who tells stories for 1001 nights in a bid to preserve her life and reveal the truth to Sultan Shahryar.
The script and storyline are penned by Atilla Engin. Filming is set to begin in the coming months, with work already underway on the large-scale sets and shooting locations.
In addition, Cansu Dere, who has previously earned acclaim for her roles in iconic series such as “Ezel”, “Mother”, and “A Woman Scorned”, will return to screens immediately after completing her work on “Scheherazade”. She is also planning to take part in a dramatic project produced by Limon Film titled “Blind Man’s Bluff”.
