Elçin Sangu does not hesitate to express his political views. In particular, she openly supported Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was elected mayor of Istanbul.  True, not all her fans liked it. One wrote that the actor should not engage in politics, to which Elçin politely replied that her profession does not prevent her from being a citizen of Turkey and expressing her views. Everyone has the right to their own opinion.
