Amine Gülşe and Mesut Özil will celebrate their wedding in Istanbul on June 7th. It is curious that the important match Belarus-Germany will take place on June 8, therefore Mesut’s colleagues in the German national team will not be able to attend the celebration. But the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be present, and he will become a witness.

Why Mesut chose this date is not entirely clear, some even hint that he did it on purpose so that the national team would lose and therefore the management of the club forbade the players to attend the celebration.
