Two employees working in the Fatih District Land Registry Office were brought to trial on charges of illegally obtaining information on 136 Turkish celebrities, including Irem Sak, Bensu Soral, Burcu Biricik, Bade İşçil, Serenay Sarıkaya, Berrak Tüzünataç, Engin Altan Düzyatan, and Sinem Kobal. The defendants illegally obtainted information about the stars’ real estate and their place of residence. The prosecutor’s office demanded a prison sentence of up to 6 years for the crime of obtaining personal data and their further dissemination.
