OGM Pictures continues preparations for a remake of the popular Israeli series “Shtisel”, which tells about the life of a traditional family. The director of the project is Cem Karci, who is well known to the audience for his work in the TV series “Song of Life”, “Karaday”, “Hercai”. Having completed work on the Netflix series “The Tailor”, he began to shoot a new show of the same company.
According to the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, Barış Falay has signed a contract for shooting in the series. He will play the father of the protagonist Omer (Selahattin Paşalı), a mosque imam named Resat. Merve Dizdar also joined the cast of the show. She will play Emine, Omer’s elder sister, mother of five children. At first, this role was offered to Gulçin Kultur, but then it was decided that Gulçin would play the big sister of the main character named Gamze.
The main female role in the series will be played by Gökçe Bahadır, who became the co-star of Selahattin Paşalı.
