Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Golden Boy” (Yalı Çapkını) lost 0.68% in total and 0.07% in AB. Producer Onur Güvenatam’s show still has good numbers among the general audience, but the educated audience is increasingly disappointed in the script of the second season. If things remain as they are, unpleasant surprises could await, especially considering that several strong competitors are set to hit the screens soon. Climbing to the top of the ratings is challenging, but staying there is even more difficult.

The series “Cranberry Sherbet” (Kızılcık Şerbeti) lost 0.19% in total but gained 0.63% in AB. A strong script and logical, though not always pleasant, characters allowed Faruk Turgut’s show to earn deserved positions in the ratings table, and it’s unlikely to change as long as one of Turkey’s most experienced screenwriters, Melis Civelek, heads the scriptwriting team.

The series “Firebirds” (Ateş Kuşları) grew by 0.59% in total but lost 0.03% in AB. Overall, the show is stable, though it doesn’t have top ratings. However, considering that ATV values stability and the total audience more, Mehmet Bozdağ’s project will comfortably reach its finale at the end of May or the beginning of June.
