Turkish series that will conclude in early 2024

Turkish Dream Factory annually produces dozens of TV shows, many of which fall victim to infamous ratings and leave the air. By the beginning of 2024, several finales of beloved series await Turkish drama fans.

One of the concluding shows is the series “My Name is Farah” starring Demet Ozdemir and Engin Akyürek, initially planned to conclude after the 26th episode. Despite modest ratings in Turkey, the show continued due to interest from international buyers attracted by the stellar cast. After the decision to end the show, its airing was moved to Saturdays. Nonetheless, the series still has a slight likelihood of being extended if there is sufficient audience interest.

The series “The Family” will conclude as planned, after the 30th episode, at the end of January. Even though ratings in Turkey are low, the show sells well abroad because of its strong cast, especially Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who is known for getting good international sales.

The series “Another Love,” starring Burak Deniz and Hande Erçel, will have its finale after the 16th episode. Despite producer Timur Savci’s assurances of having prepared the script for a second season and the recent international award received, Fox TV decided not to continue the TV show due to low ratings.

Even more disappointing was the outcome of the series “I Have a Problem” starring Birce Akalay and Mert Firat in the lead roles. The low ratings did not satisfy the management of D channel, leading to the decision to cancel the show after the 6th episode.
