Erkan Meriç, known for his role in the series “Prisoner of love,” is preparing for a new movie after a break from his screen career.

Today, a script reading for the film “Eastern” (Doğulu) took place, with Erkan Meriç playing the lead role. The screenwriters are Bilal Kalyoncu and Koray Yeltekin, and the idea was conceived by Bilal Kalyoncu and Savaş Satış. The cast also includes Gürkan Uygun, Nebil Sayın, Melih Özkaya, Bora Cengiz, Faruk Pakiş, Cansel Elçin, Meriç Özgür, Onur Akbay, Deniz Oral, and Melis İşiten.

Erkan Meriç, a model and actor, was born on July 25, 1986, in Adana. He graduated from Mersin University with a degree in Electronic Automation. He was professionally involved in football and other sports. After university, he began a modeling career, winning the “Best Model of Turkey” and “Best Model of the World” contests in 2009.

He later started his acting career. In his last show, “Fate,” he played the role of Umut. However, the daytime series on TV8 was canceled due to low ratings.
