Expectations are rising around the casting of the series “The Museum of Innocence,” an adaptation of the work by Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk, particularly among young Turkish actors. Preparations for the Ay Yapim project are in full swing. The series is set to be produced for Netflix as a single season with nine episodes. The screenplay is written by Ertan Kurtaran, with direct involvement from Orhan Pamuk himself, and Zeynep Günay will direct the series.

The plot of the series will unfold with time jumps, starting in the present day. There is particular interest surrounding the casting of the main roles: Kemal, his beloved Füsun, and his fiancée Sibel.

Negotiations are underway with Selahattin Paşalı and Kaan Urgancıoğlu for the role of Kemal. Several promising actresses are being considered for the female roles. The project is drawing the attention of young actresses not only because it is based on the work of a Nobel laureate but also due to the opportunity to work under the successful director Zeynep Günay.
