On January 24, the film Tete and the Tale: The World of Dreams will premiere, captivating audiences with its star-studded cast and fantastical storyline. In this film, Engin Altan Düzyatan takes on the role of a Viking king.

The movie is produced by Satre Film Yapım, under the leadership of Hande Ertaş and Emrah Ertaş. The director’s chair is occupied by Tümer Sirkecioğlu, while the screenplay was penned by Emrah Ertaş, who also conceived the project’s original idea.

Sharing his thoughts on the film, Engin Altan Düzyatan said: “The film tells the story of a young girl embarking on a fairy tale-filled journey as she copes with her grandmother’s illness. “I play a Viking king!”

“In the film, I play a Viking king. This character was incredibly fascinating for me. Taking part in such a fantastical project was an unconventional but deeply rewarding experience. I was impressed by the film’s magical storytelling, the innocence of its narrative, and its rich visual aesthetics. One of the reasons I decided to join this project was for my children. It’s important to me that they have the chance to see their father in a film like this. It will be a special memory for them.”

Engin Altan Düzyatan also highlighted the stellar ensemble cast that came together for the project: “We had a truly remarkable team on set. The film features performances by Mert Turak, Ada Erma, Fahriye Evcen, Pelin Karahan, Keremcem, Can Kızıltuğ, İnci Türkay, Jess Molho, Cenan Adıgüzel, Haldun Dormen, Meral Çetinkaya, and Altan Erkekli. Each of them contributed wholeheartedly to the project.”
