Diriliş: Ertuğrul will make the final on May 29
The legendary Turkish TV series Resurrection: Ertuğrul / Diriliş: Ertuğrul, that for five years has pleased viewers around the world with the history of the Ottoman Empire, is coming to a final. The last 150th episode will air on Wednesday, May 29, putting the final point in the history of Ertuğrul Bey and his associates. It is expected that, by tradition, the actors of the series will watch the latest episode with the creators at the grand gala, which will probably be attended by the country’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
However, fans of the project may not be upset: as early as November, the creators of Ertuğrul will present their new brainchild – Diriliş: Osman, in which the story of Ertuğrul Bey’s son, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman Gazi, will be told. Burak Özçivit will play the main role. Alas, we will not see Engin Altan Düzyatan in the new series. He is finishing work on the show in May.
At present, Diriliş: Ertuğrul is successfully broadcasted not only in Turkey but also in the rest of the world. By the way, the series is one of the most popular non-original projects on Netflix (including in the USA). We hope that the Diriliş: Osman will repeat this success.
