Özge Özpirinçci and Birkan Sokullu in the new Netflix series

Netflix continues to gain Turkish audience, offering new projects and working with the biggest Turkish stars. This time Netflix will unite Özge Özpirinçci and Birkan Sokullu in a new series about love.

Özge Özpirinçci recently completed work on the hugely popular Turkish television series Woman / Kadin, which brought her well-deserved fame and status as one of the most sought-after stars. As it became known, the actress has already found a new project.

Television company Ay Yapim invited Özge to the show that it is preparing for the Netflix. The director of the project is Çağan Irmak, who made one of the most legendary series in the history of Turkish cinema – Mansion with vines / Asmalı Konak. The screenwriter of the series is also well known to the audience: this is Ece Yörenç, who worked on the screenplays of the series The Fall of Leaves, Forbidden Love, Fatmagul, Ebb and Tide, Brave and Beautiful. Filming of the project will begin in March.

Birkan Sokullu will be the co-star of Özge. The actor had already worked on the Netflix series Rise of Empires: Ottoman, where he played the role of Giovanni Giustiniani Longo. The series will consist of 8 episodes, it will be a love story.

Özge Özpirinçci also recently visited the set of the TV series The Ottoman / Kuruluş Osman in Riva, after which there were rumors that she could join the project. However, as it turned out, producer Mehmet Bozdağ wants to work with the actress in other projects, so he showed her the set.
