Exxen prepares a remake of the series Leila and Majnun

According to Birsen Altuntas, Acun Ilicali’s digital platform Exxen has acquired the rights to remake one of the most popular TV show in Turkish history, Leila and Majnun / Leyla ile Mecnun. Mindful of the fiasco with the attempted remake of the series My Magic Mom / Sihirli Annem, the producer began negotiations with the old project team. As it became known, the director of the new version will be the former director Onur Unlu. Filming will start in summer.
