Great news for Turkish series fans in Russia! The TNT channel is preparing a new joint Russian-Turkish show that will feature actors from both countries. What do we know about the series so far?

With the exit of English-language TV series from the media market, Russian digital platforms and TV channels have turned to Turkish TV series, which have gained a significant presence on Russian television alongside Korean productions. Along with acquiring ready-made Turkish series, Russian TV channels are ready to collaborate with Turkish colleagues in producing joint projects.

As it has been revealed, the Russian TV channel TNT and Good Story Media, inspired by the success of the Turkish hit “Love is in the air” in Russia, are preparing a new romantic comedy called LUV, set in Turkey. The series is being filmed in Russian, English, and Turkish languages.

The story revolves around the lives of three friends, Lisa, Ulyana, and Vicky, who find themselves in Turkey, hoping to find love. However, the man Lisa met through social media turns out to be completely different from who he claimed to be.

The pilot episode of the show is being filmed in Istanbul. The main roles are played by Katerina Kovalchuk, Tasha Tsvetkova, Anna Bogomolova, Rami Narin, Baran Andiç, and Mirza Mrziç. The director is Vladimir Bolgov, the screenplay is written by Anna Makarenkova.
