Netflix has announced the release date for the new Turkish series “Kübra,” set to premiere on January 18 on the digital platform. The lead role in the series is played by Çağatay Ulusoy, with a cast that includes Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Nazan Kesal, and others.

The series is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Afşin Kum. The screenplay is by Murat Uyurkulak, Rana Mamatlıoğlu, and Bekirm Baran Sıtkı.

Plot: Gökhan, an ordinary young man from a poor district in Istanbul who wants to marry his beloved, gets entangled in a whirlwind of events after receiving a mysterious message from a user with the nickname Kübra. At first, he dismisses it, but then he begins to realize that Kübra knows more about him than he could have imagined. She warns him about future events unknown to anyone else. Understanding that Kübra possesses supernatural abilities, Gökhan embarks on a dangerous journey. Along the way, he encounters both allies and enemies, becoming a participant in a war he sees as the “war of darkness and light.”
