TV series Çukur and Yasak Elma were taken off the air

As the journalist Ranini reports, the series Çukur and Yasak Elma have been subjected to administrative punishment by RTUK. The decree is published on the official website of the organization. Çukur is deprived of the right to broadcast for two weeks, Yasak Elma for five weeks. As we can see, Ranini was right when she announced the possibility of such punishment a couple of weeks ago. Also, serials are the subjects of an administrative fine.

We remind you that RTUK is a state organization that is called upon to regulate television and radio broadcasting in Turkey. Recently, however, the state censor has tasted and penalized TV series even for incorrectly named dogs. Now the escalation has reached a new level, when TV shows are simply being taken off the air, thereby destroying the country’s serial industry.
