Çağatay Ulusoy’s new series “Kubra”

The new project of Çağatay Ulusoy has traditionally caused a great stir among the fans of the Turkish star. Here is another surprise for the fans: the famous journalist Bircen Altuntas announced a new show of the actor.

In 2022, Çağatay Ulusoy starred in three seasons of the Netflix series “The Tailor“ and the movie “Gentleman“, where his co–star was Ebru Şahin. Fans also learned about the preparation of a series of films that will become the Turkish version of the famous project “Black Mirror“. However, in the end, the decision was made to turn the project into an 8–episode series, which will also be released on Netflix. The new project is being prepared by OGM Pictures, with which Çağatay has been collaborating not only as an actor but also as a co–producer for five years. The show will be directed by the Yagmur and Durul Taylan brothers, known for the series “Magnificent Century“, “Wounded Love“, “I‘m Gray“.

The new TV show “Kubra“ is an adaptation of Afsin Kum‘s science–fiction novel about the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence. It is the story of Gökhan Şahinoğlu, a student of a master who divides his time between his girlfriend and social networks. One day, he receives a message from a user with the nickname Kubra, who knows too much about him. Gökhan doesn‘t realise that he is communicating with artificial intelligence.

Considering the revolution that humanity is currently experiencing with the creation of true artificial intelligence and the implications of this discovery, the series is certainly earning a lot of interest from Netflix subscribers.
