Burak Berkay Akgül, who plays the role of Yaman in the series “Sapphire,” gave an interview to the Sabah publication. In the interview, the actor talked about his character and what awaits the viewers in the series.

He noted that Yaman is a complex and contradictory character. He is a young man who strives for justice, but can also be cruel and ruthless.

Berkay also discussed the love story of Yaman and Feraye. He said that their love would be difficult and impossible: “Our audience will see the impossible love of Yaman and Feraye, the conflicts they experience within themselves and with each other, the personalities they transform, and the stories of each character that influence this whole process,” he said.

Berkay also added that the series “Sapphire” is a story of love, hatred, revenge, and redemption.
